The Experience
Description We depart Tokushima for the Naruto Straits, where racing currents create a mass of whirlpools. We take a boat out into the Straits to see the phenomenon up close, and look down on the swirling waters from the massive suspension bridge. It’s an unforgettable sight.
After a seafood lunch, we meet the evocative puppets of Awa, and try indigo dyeing. Your own personally dyed item makes a great souvenir of Shikoku.
