One of Japan’s three major historic morning markets. Situated along a charming fishing port, this vibrant market is renowned for its fresh catches—particularly squid—offering visitors an authentic glimpse into local maritime culture and coastal delicacies
Nagoya Castle Ruins & Nagoya Castle Museum Explore the impressive historic site of Nagoya Castl constructed in 1591 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Visitors can walk among the magnificent original stone walls while taking in sweeping ocean views. The adjacent museum offers insightful exhibits detailing the history of diplomacy and cultural exchange between Japan and the Korean Peninsula.
Squid Cuisine Karatsu and Yobuko are famous across Japan for their fresh squid (Ika). You'll get to enjoy 'Ika no Ikizukuri'—translucent, live-prepared squid served right after it's caught. It's incredibly sweet and crispy! Afterwards, the remaining parts are usually made into crispy tempura.
