Highlights Gyuba Doji Statue This stone Buddha of Gyuba Doji is small and cute, measuring only 50 cm in height, and has become a symbol of Nakahechi. Chikatsuyu Oji There are restaurants and private houses where you can stay overnight, and you can stroll along beautifully paved paths. Tsugizakura Oji The group of giant cedar trees on the temple grounds are called ""one-sided cedars in Nonaka"" because their branches are uniformly directed toward the southeast. Hosshinmon Oji From Hosshinmon Oji is the entrance to the sanctuary Kumano Hongu, which is considered the sacred area of Kumano Hongu Taisha. Mizunomi Oji There is a legend that when Kobo Daishi poked the ground with his staff, water gushed out, and a kind of water fountain was set up beside the temple.
