In the late Edo period, the production of Kurozu(rice vinegar) using pots began in Fukuyama-cho, Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Tsubobatake is Traditional vinegar storage, shop, & cafe. There is also an exhibition facility where you can learn about Sakamoto's Kurozu and experience the goodness.
