Lake Shikotsu Lake Shikotsu boasts some of the highest water clarity in Japan. Its crystal-clear waters sparkle as they reflect the surrounding light, creating a truly breathtaking view. At the nearby Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center, you can learn all about the grand volcanic history that created the lake and the vibrant wildlife that calls this area home.
Kinoko Kingdom Otaki Main Store A popular rest stop on the way to Lake Toya. Offering an incredible selection of over 2,000 local Hokkaido souvenirs, it is best known for its specialty mushroom products—perfect for picking up unique gifts or enjoying a light bite during your break.
Lake Toya & Toya Kohantei Lake Toya is a stunning caldera lake formed by a massive volcanic eruption roughly 100,000 years ago. On its scenic shore sits "Toya Kohantei," where you can savor a delicious Japanese meal set featuring abundant local seafood, fresh seasonal vegetables, and choice pork.
Mt. Usu Ropeway Mt. Usu is a historically significant region recognized as Japan’s very first UNESCO Global Geopark. Take a scenic ride on the Mt. Usu Ropeway to the mountain top, where the summit terrace opens up to magnificent, panoramic views crafted by powerful geological forces.
Showa-Shinzan Bear Ranch (optional activity) As an optional stop, you can also visit the Showa-Shinzan Bear Ranch. Here, you can watch brown bears play and relax up close. Don't miss the popular feeding experience, where you might see the clever bears strike adorable poses to beg for treats!
Sapporo TV Tower (Only for Tour & Sapporo TV Tower Ticket Plan ) Enjoy a stunning 360-degree view of Odori Park and the surrounding mountains. - 【Notes】 Lake Shikotsu Lake Shikotsu Sightseeing Cruise is currently suspended and unavailable. Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center is closed every Tuesday from December 1st to March 31st. However, the restrooms remain accessible even on closed days. Present your sightseeing bus ticket stub at the souvenir shop "Memeer" to get a 10% discount on souvenirs (some items excluded; closed Wednesdays and Thursdays, subject to change). You can also present your ticket stub at "Hekisui" for 50 yen off all soft-serve ice cream (irregular holidays).
【Notes】 Mt. Usu Walking trails are available to the summit of Mt. Usu, but comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing are recommended. Discount coupons for the Bear Ranch will be distributed to all passengers (Adults: 1,000 yen → 900 yen / Children: 500 yen → 400 yen). If the ropeway is suspended due to strong winds or bad weather, the itinerary will be replaced with a visit to the Bear Ranch and a complimentary souvenir (subject to change).
Important Notice This tour will be canceled if highways or the Bifue Pass are closed due to severe snowstorms or weather damage.
