Himeji Castle Registered as Japan's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and designated as a National Treasure, Himeji Castle is one of Japan's most iconic and historically significant castles. Having miraculously escaped the devastation of war and earthquakes for over 400 years, it beautifully preserves its original architectural form from the feudal era.
Koko-en Garden Situated adjacent to Himeji Castle, Koko-en is a magnificent, authentic Japanese garden complex covering approximately 3.3 hectares. Comprising nine separate gardens laid out over the archaeological remains of samurai residences and paths, it beautifully recreates the distinct aesthetics and landscaping styles of the Edo period (1603–1867).
Lavender Park Taka Located in Taka Town, Hyogo Prefecture, Lavender Park Taka is the largest lavender garden in Western Japan, surrounded by lush, untouched nature. From mid-May to mid-July, approximately 50,000 lavender plants bloom across the park, enveloping the area in a gentle fragrance. The park features a cafe with panoramic views, signature lavender soft-serve ice cream, and hands-on aromatherapy experiences.
Roadside Station "Yamada Nishiki Birthplace" Taka Located in the heart of Taka Town, this unique roadside station celebrates the region as the birthplace of Yamada Nishiki, Japan’s premier sake brewing rice.
