The Experience
Kyogoku Fukidashi Park A famous natural spring where 80,000 tons of Mt. Yotei's snowmelt gushes out daily. Bring an empty bottle to take some of this pure water home! You can also enjoy special coffee and jelly made with the spring water at the adjacent roadside station.
Niseko Nook Annupuri (Lunch) Located at the foot of the mountain, this is your lunch stop. Enjoy the "Makkari Herb Pork Sukinabe Gozen," a delicious hot pot meal featuring premium, sweet, and rich pork raised on a special herb diet in the neighboring village.
Niseko Distillery A whisky and gin distillery established in 2019 by the company behind the famous "Hakkaisan" sake. Their high-quality gin has won top awards in global competitions. Tasting sessions for gin, plum wine, and shochu are available here.
Niseko Milk Kobo Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Yotei while treating yourself to fresh dairy sweets! They offer soft-serve ice cream, drinking yogurt, cream puffs, and more, all made with incredibly fresh milk from the adjacent dairy farm.
Lake Shikotsu One of the clearest lakes in Japan. Take in the beautifully sparkling blue water and visit the Visitor Center to learn about the area's volcanic history. You can also add an optional ride on an underwater sightseeing boat or a swan boat to explore the lake further!
