The Highlight
In this course, you will be on the trail for a short period of three days, experiencing a variety of landscapes. Along the way, you will be able to experience the beauty of the local landscape in each of the four seasons. The course is not only about the scenery, but also about interacting with the local people and tasting local products through meals.

- Meet at Sendai Station and transfer to Matsukawaura area for a BBQ lunch. Today we will hike from the trail head in Matsukawaura to Soma Shrine (local lunch included). Stay overnight in Matsukawaura area or Watari Area.
Day 2 Hiking Distance: about 8.5㎞ Total Incline 15m Decent 15ｍ Hiking time: about 2.5hrs Trail type: paved pathways/on road
- Depart hotel. Today we will start the day with a visit to the Natori Trail Centre to learn more about this trail. After this we will enjoy hiking the Natori area, with lunch at a local restaurant and finish with a visit to the Arahama Elementary School that was damaged in the Tsunami in 2011. Stay overnight in Matsushima area.
Day 3 Hiking Distance: about 4㎞ Total Incline 77m Decent 82m Hiking time: about 2.5hrs plus boat transfer time Trail type: mix of paved pathways/on road and unpaved sections
- Depart hotel. Today we will hike the beautiful Urato Shoto Island area off the coast of Matsushima Bay.
Finish at Sendai station at around 17:00pm
