Jozanen About 50 maple trees of two types are planted in the garden, and when the leaves turn red, orange, and yellow, the garden offers beautiful scenery. ・Photo Spot (1) The "Toko-momiji", or floorboards stretching from the office on the left side of the entrance up to the entrance of the shoin (drawing room) are a superb photo spot, with the autumn leaves of the "karayo garden" reflected in the shining reflections of the floorboards. (2) The path leading from the North Gate to the South Gate is a road of maple trees with a spectacular view. (3) The Karayo-style garden in front of the Shoin is like a garden of maple trees. (4) Withered maple leaves on the sand create a good atmosphere.
Matsudaira Toshogu The shrine is dedicated to Ieyasu Tokugawa, a famous Japanese military commander. In addition, there is a "well of childbirth" in the precincts of the shrine, which is believed to bring blessings of longevity and easy childbirth.
Korankei It is said that a monk in Edo Period planted the autumn leave trees and today it is one of the best places in Japan to view the autumn leaves, with approximately 4,000 maple trees in full color. Across the Asuke River, visitors can stroll along the old streets reminiscent of the inns that once stood here. Also, there are 11 different kinds of maple trees, so why not compare the maple leaves one by one?
Orange Picking Here, you can enjoy mikan (mandarin orange) picking. Enjoy the taste of freshly picked and colorful oranges.
