Oyada Shrine Momiji Tani Oyada Shrine has a main shrine, a worship hall, and a Sakura gate, and is a historic structure built in the Edo period. From the sakura gate on the approach to the shrine, 234 steps lead up to the hall of worship. There are about 3,000 mountain Japanese maples (Yama-Momizi), some of which are more than 1,000 years old. Also it is designated as a national natural monument as the Maple Valley Yama-momiji Forest.

Mino Washi Light Art The "Mino Washi Light Art Exhibition" was started to revitalize and brand the traditional industry of "Mino Washi," which boasts 1,300 years of history, and the "udatsu streets" in the Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Visitors can feel the softness and beauty of Mino washi through the numerous light objects that light up beautifully in the townscape, which retains the atmosphere from the Edo period.
Also, visit the former Imai Family Residence and the Mino Washi Light Art Museum! You will stroll along the udatsu streets with a volunteer guide.
Shiitake mushroom picking Experience shiitake mushrooms picking!! Visitors can pick fragrant and thick-fleshed "log shiitake" mushrooms grown by traditional log cultivation. Every one can take home 300 grams of shiitake mushrooms you have picked.
