In addition to exhibits of actual aircraft, including the YS-11, the first postwar domestic passenger aircraft, which made its first flight at Nagoya Airport , and also there is an “Orientation Theater” that explains the history and development of the aircraft industry in Aichi Prefecture using 3D images. In addition, there is a “Work Experience” for pilots and mechanics, and a “Science Lab” where you can enjoy learning how aircraft fly through experiments and crafts. The “Flying Box” provides a virtual experience of flying over nature and urban areas around Aichi Prefecture using a large screen and moving seats. From the rooftop observation deck, located approximately 300 meters from the runway, visitors can watch airplane take off and land at close range.
