Kiyomizu Temple is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. This temple is one of the most and popular temples in the Kyoto city. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Kyoto city from the temple.
Yasaka Shrine, affectionately known as Gion-san since ancient times, is the head office of Gion shrines nationwide. This shrine is famous for the Gion Festival in July and the New Year's Eve pilgrimage.
In Gion, enjoy old Japan atmosphere where streets are covered in cobblestone and shopping at some of the oldest establishments.

Option of Gion Corner Ticket Gion Corner provides a great opportunity to enjoy seven traditional performing arts on one stage. The program is approximately one hour long and includes chanoyu (the art of preparing tea), koto music, ikebana flower arrangement, bugaku dance, kyogen comedy, and Kyomai dance. Depending on the season, a scene from bunraku puppet theater or a noh play is performed. The production is perfectly suited for travelers who are interested in the time-honored performing arts of Japan.
