~Information on Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage~ The Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage is one of the few circular-shaped pilgrimages in the world. It includes 88 “official” temples and numerous other sacred sites where Kukai (Kōbō Daishi) is believed to have trained or have spent time during the 9th Century. If walked, the entire route is about 1,200 kilometers long which allows one to experience the abundant natural surroundings of Shikoku and opportunities to mingle with locals.

Ryozen-ji Temple (The Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage) Ryozen-ji Temple is the starting point of Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage. The Kannon (Goddess of Mercy), located just inside the Niomon Gate, is believed to be beneficial for "matchmaking" in all areas, including work, health, and happiness. After visiting Reizenji Temple, let's walk to the second temple, Gokuraku-ji Temple.
Gokuraku-ji Temple (The Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage) Gokuraku-ji Temple is the second temple of Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgramage. Gokuraku-ji Temple has long been worshipped as a temple of prayer for safe delivery.
Tokushima Prefectural Awa Jurobe Yashiki(Puppet Theater and Museum) Let's appreciate traditional performing arts Japanese puppet theatre in which recited narrative and dialog is accompanied by a shamisen (forerunner of bunraku). We hope you will enjoy Japanese sensibilities to your heart's content.
Indigo Dyeing Experience Tokushima once flourished as a center of indigo dyeing. Even today, the influence of indigo dyeing can be seen in the indigo colors that represent Tokushima City. It is said that the fascination of indigo dyeing is the moment when the dyed fabrics turn blue after being soaked in water. We hope you will take this opportunity to try indigo dyeing.

- You can customize it as you like. If you have any requests please let us know in advance.
- If you want to change your schedule even on the tour day, your guide is always happy to help you.
- You can skip the spot where you don't go (※in this case we do not refund any fees) or change it with another place. If you add some new spots by your request, please pay the ticket fee on the spot. (Note that you may need to pay extra transportation fee)
- Infants (under 2 years old) can join tour but must sit on laps
