Wooden prayer sticks (Goma sticks) inscribed with participants' wishes are placed into the fire. The rising flames and smoke are believed to carry the prayers to Fudo Myo-o. The drum sounds and the priests chanting is very powerful, and an amazing experence to witness. <Significance> The fire represents the wisdom that burns away ignorance and negative karma. It is a deeply spiritual and visually captivating experience. Kawasaki Daishi is very famous for its Goma Fire Rituals, and many people attend them every day. In essence, the Goma Fire Ritual is a dynamic and profound ceremony that embodies the power of Buddhist teachings to transform negative energies and bring about positive change.

"What is Omamori?" Omamori are Japanese amulets or charms, often sold at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. They are believed to provide various forms of luck or protection. Here's a breakdown of key aspects: <Purpose> Omamori are meant to ward off bad luck and bring good fortune to the bearer. They come in various types, each designed to provide specific benefits, such as: Health (kenko-omamori) Love (en-musubi-omamori) Academic success (gaku-gyo-joju-omamori) Traffic safety (kotsu-anzen-omamori) Business prosperity(shobai-hanjo-omamori) <Appearance> Typically, omamori are small, colorful brocade bags containing a prayer or inscription. They are often attached to straps or cords, allowing them to be carried in a purse, attached to a bag, or kept in a car. <Significance> Omamori are considered sacred objects and should be treated with respect.
