Ainoshima Island Ainoshima is located a 20-min ferry ride from Shingu Port. It makes an ideal day trip from Fukuoka!
In 2013, Ainoshima was selected as one of the “6 Big Cat Spots in the world” by United States news channel CNN.com. Most of the cats on the island are friendly and not fearful of human. Residents leave them life freely and naturally as feral cats. The island is small and worth to explore the 5,4 km road that loops around the island. Rental Bicycle for 2 hours is include in this tour!!
You can visit some famous places such as Ainoshima Tumuli (stone burial mounds) and the arched Hanagurise rock formation and several ancient shrines.

- 13:32 Take JR Train from Hakata to Fukkodaimae Station

- 14:30 Take Ferry to Ainoshima
- 15:00 Strolling around Ainoshima ※Include Rental Bicycle for 2 hours
- Take Ferry back to Shingu Port
