Customized experience museum for the entire town Zentsuji City in Kagawa Prefecture is the birthplace of Kobo Daishi Kukai, a great figure in Japanese Buddhism known to all Japanese people. Born 1,250 years ago, Kukai achieved enlightenment by training in the magnificent natural surroundings of his hometown of Shikoku. Even now, more than 1,200 years after his time, many worshipers who admire Kukai come from all over the world to follow the pilgrimage path he left behind. At five temples related to Kukai in Zentsuji City, you can experience content that allows you to face yourself and hone your five senses, with the themes of Mandara Temple - tactile sense, Shusshaka Temple - visual sense, Koyama Temple - auditory sense, Zentsuji Temple - taste, and Konzo Temple - olfactory sense.

Each mask to be painted is made by hand by a craftsman. The technique is made from clay molds using a technique that has been used for over 100 years, and the washi paper used is old, high-quality washi paper that can now only be obtained in Japan. There are limits.
