It is famous for hosting the annual high school baseball tournament known as the Hanshin Koshien Tournament, which is one of the most prestigious and widely followed high school baseball competitions in Japan.

- On days when day games are held, the operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Last admission is allowed until 30 minutes before closing time.
- Operating hours may vary depending on events.
- The museum is closed on Mondays (excluding game days and public holidays) as well as during the year-end and New Year holidays.
- In addition to the above, there may be temporary closures due to maintenance or other reasons.
