The Highlight
- Dry Bonsai is a new style of art that does not require any maintenance such as pruning, watering, and changing pots unlike live Bonsai. This is a real Bonsai that has over grown in period of time and went through special drying process to preserve the live looks.
- In this workshop, your will select the trunks and branches of your choice, shaping by trimming and combine the trunk and branches together to create "one of a kind" Bonsai.
The Experience
You will be taught by a Dry Bonsai Artist Mr. Fujita himself or a certified instructor. Workshop for two is also available for those want to make it together.
Course includes; History of Bonsai, workshop, Kyoto cuisine (vegetarian), sweets and drink.
Time schedule as follows: Premium course:Thursday and Friday 10：00～14：00 with lunch (13:00 no lunch). Special and basic course:Friday 14:00-17:00 (no lunch option)
Please arrive 5 minutes early. Participants: Capacity of 4-10 people.
Bonsai purchase is also available. (reservation is required)

Purchase Notice
Thursday and Friday from 10:00am will be held by an artist Mr. Fujita for premium courses.
Friday from 14:00pm will be held by a certified instructor for special and basic courses.(no lunch option)
Kyoto cuisine lunch and free drinks are available for premium course at an addtional price of 15,000yen per person. Please input number of participants when making a reservation.
You may ship your art work home to ease your trip. International shippings are available, please ask the staff.
This workshop is recommended for 18 years old and older.
