Visit the 5th Station or the highest point accessible on Mt. Fuji, Japan's iconic peak registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour will also visit Hakone, popular for its beautiful scenery, where customers can experience a lake cruise and cable car ride and fully enjoy the majestic nature of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
Through explanations from the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter accompanying this tour, customers can learn about history, nature, and other features of the region treasured by tour destinations. Customers can also contribute to protecting and nurturing the local region.
Enjoy the tour comfortably aboard an air-conditioned bus on the outbound trip, and enjoy a view of the city from the bus on the return trip.
Lunch & Performance
With Lunch Plan: For lunch, a Japanese-style meal prepared with ingredients from the local region will be served. There are also vegetarian, Muslim-friendly, and Indian thali meals from which customers can choose (includes tea or coffee). Midway, watch a Japanese drum performance by Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai1 and enjoy one of Japan's traditional performing arts. Due to facility circumstances, there will be a change in the lunch venue and menu from May 25 (Mon.) to June 20 (Sat.), 2026. (Japanese-style meal or buffet; only tea will be served for drinks.)
No Lunch Plan: Lunch is not included. Please have lunch on your own. (Depending on the operation, the lunch location may be at the foot of Mt. Fuji or in the Hakone area.) - Mt. Fuji 5th Station The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
- Lunch You will either enjoy Japanese-style cuisine or have lunch on your own, depending on the plan you have chosen. *Please make sure to refer to [Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Meals].
- Lake Ashi Cruise At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc. Please refer to [Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations].
- Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Komagatake Ropeway operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.
- Hakone-en Customers that descend Mt. Komagatake early can stop by the souvenir corner at the foot of the mountain. *Depending on time management, and if the order of tour destinations was changed, there may not be time to purchase souvenirs. *For this tour, it is not possible to get off the bus at Hakone-en. If you wish to do so, please apply for tour products departing from Shinjuku.

Operation Conditions/Tour Conditions
- Tour bookings may be made until 5:00 in the morning on the day of the tour. Please make a reservation through the system by the reservation deadline.
- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.
- For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.
Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations
- The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
- Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
- Important Notes: On a typical year, the 5th Station may be visited from around late April to November, but during the winter months (around December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line will be closed due to snowfall, road surface freezing, etc.
- If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities.
- Alternative Facilities: Fujisan Museum, Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park, Fujisan World Heritage Center, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Oshino Hakkai
- If the Lake Ashi Cruise and Komagatake Ropeway are not operating due to weather conditions, or if stops cannot be made due to road conditions and congestion at sightseeing destinations, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.
