The Ghibli Museum is dedicated to the art and animation of Studio Ghibli, Japan's most famous animation studio, founded by the world-famous Japanese film director Miyazaki Hayao.
Studio Ghibli is known worldwide for hits such as Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke. The Ghibli Museum is located near the hipster town of Kichijoji in west Tokyo, in a town called Mitaka.

・Visit the very popular "Mitakanomori Ghibli Museum", which is difficult to reserve by yourself. ・Enjoy walking in the nature-rich Inokashira Park. ・An English-speaking guide will accompany you from Kichijoji Station to the Mitakanomori Ghibli Museum. ・Foreigners are also welcome to join the tour with an English-speaking guide from Kichijoji Station to the Ghibli Museum.
The Experience
(1) Since admission to the art museums is group entry, only those who register at Kichijoji Station and participate in the walking tour will be allowed to enter the museums. *It is not possible to join the tour at the museum or enter the museum on an individual basis.
(2) At the reception area, an information staff member wearing a pink vest will be at the reception desk and will guide you to the walking tour. (③After entering the Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Museum of Art as a group, the tour will be free to disperse.
<Tickets for admission>(1) Admission will be treated as a group, but you will receive a "film ticket" in the same way as if you were entering as an individual.
(2) There is no individual identification upon entry to the museum, as tickets are treated as a group (group admission). However, if a visitor who is not the person who made the tour reservation arrives at the tour reception, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the tour. *Because no travel contract has been made.
