- Due to the peak season at Mt. Takao, the ‘Walk the Hidden Path with a Monk Guide’ included in the package cannot be provided from January 1, 2026, to February 6, 2026.
- A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to operate.
- For groups of 30 or more, please contact us separately.
- The tour is guided in English. You may select another language option when making your reservation (additional fee applies).
- Participants should be able to walk uphill and climb stairs comfortably, as the tour includes about 30 minutes of walking after getting off the cable car.
- During the Goma fire ritual, participants are required to sit quietly in the traditional seiza position. Please note that smoke will be present; those sensitive to smoke or with respiratory conditions may not be able to participate.
- Yakuoin Temple belongs to the Shingon sect of Buddhism, and the Goma ritual is a sacred religious ceremony. Guests with concerns due to personal beliefs are advised to review the tour details carefully before joining.
- At Ukai Toriyama, vegetarian and allergy-friendly meals can be arranged upon request. Please inform us in advance.
