The Tateyama Ropeway connects Daikanbo Peak and Kurobe Plain. Designed with scenery and environmental preservation in mind, it features no support pillars between Daikanbo and Kurobe Plain, functioning as a moving observation deck offering 360-degree panoramic views. Large windows frame breathtaking vistas: Kurobe Dam is beyond imagination—truly awe-inspiring! Kurobe Dam boasts one of Japan's largest scales. Standing at 186 meters tall, it holds the title as Japan's tallest dam. During this season, the dam's tourist water discharge hasn't begun yet, so there are fewer visitors compared to summer. You can leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery with lingering snow.
