The winter forest has a different flavor than the summer. In addition, from the open snowfield of the highlight, you can see the cliffs leading to the cape, the sea of Okhotsk covered with drift ice during the drift ice berthing season, and the overwhelming panorama of the pure white Shiretoko mountain range.
What is Snowshoes? Snowshoes are magical tools that aid walking on snow. In order to efficiently walk on the snow, it is designed to have a wider contact area than "Kanjiki". The snowshoe is attached to the boot, but the total weight of the left and right is about 1.5 - 1.8kg. No special skills are required for both wearing and walking, and even beginners can quickly get used to it.

For your own safety, please listen carefully and do not take photos or videos of nature or animals while the guide is speaking. ・We recommend that you purchase your own accident insurance ・No restrooms are available during the walk（Portable toilets are available for use during the walk.）Please be sure to complete before the meeting. ・If you are late for the meeting place and time on the day of the tour, you may not be able to join the tour. ・In the middle of winter, the sensible temperature can drop to -20°C. Please prepare your clothes well in advance. ・It is an outdoor activity.Please be in good physical condition to participate. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well.

- The tour might be cancelled or discontinued because of the bad weather condition or unexpected accidents.
- You will walk about 3 hours and half in snowing forest. Please wear warm clothes. Long pants, a sweater, fleece jacket, and waterproofjacket and pants on top. Woolen gloves, woollen cap, neck warmer, thick socksand sunglasses or goggles to keep you from cold.
- Please refrain from consuming alcohol immediately before the tour, and refrain from consuming alcohol, smoking during the tour.
- Pregnant women may not join this tour.
- Please refrain from using cell phones during the walk. 6.Participants will be picked up from their hotel 10 to 15 minutes prior to the tour. Pick-up service is handled by SHINRA.
