How to Use
- Voucher will be sent via email. Please present the voucher at the designated location and exchange it for a printed ticket.
Purchase Notice
1. Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Tickets & Seat Arrangements
Standard Train Schedule:
- Outbound (Tokyo ➔ Nagano): Departure between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
- Return (Nagano ➔ Tokyo): Departure between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Final Confirmation: Reservations open 1 month prior to travel. Your Final Itinerary with confirmed train times and hotel details will be sent approx. 20 days prior to departure.
Ticket Issuance & Collection: You cannot board with a digital QR code alone. You must exchange your QR code for physical paper tickets at a JR Ticket Vending Machine before boarding (detailed instructions provided in your Final Itinerary email). *Optional: Select "Shinkansen Ticket Delivery to Hotel" at checkout to skip station queues.
Oversized Baggage (Dimensions over 160 cm): If traveling with large suitcases or ski gear bags, you MUST select the paid "Oversized Baggage" option at booking (recommended at least 1 month in advance).
*Bringing oversized baggage without a prior reservation will incur a ¥1,000 penalty fee by the conductor, and bags will be relocated.
*If oversized baggage seats are fully booked and unavailable, the option fee will be fully refunded.
2. Accommodation Policy (Accommodations & Hotel Tiers)
Tier-Based Booking: Hotels are assigned based on your selected tier (Standard or Superior Class). Specific hotels cannot be requested. Final hotel details will be in your Final Itinerary.

3. Child & Infant Policy (Based on Age at Time of Travel) *Booking Requirement: All reservations must include at least one Adult (Ages 12+).
- Adult (Ages 12+): Full rate. Includes individual Shinkansen seat and hotel bed.
- Child (Ages 6–11): Child rate. Includes individual Shinkansen seat and hotel bed.
- Toddler (Ages 3–5): Includes hotel bed only (No train seat; must sit on an adult's lap).
- Infant (Ages 0–2): Free of charge. No train seat or hotel bed provided (must sit on lap and share bed). *If an individual train seat is required, please book under "Child (Ages 6–11)".
4. Ski / Snowboard Rental (For Rental Plans Only)
Included Items: Skis, Poles & Boots OR Snowboard & Boots for the duration of your stay. HIS Exclusive Bonus: FREE Helmet Rental is included as a special benefit for this tour!
Excluded Items: Ski clothing (jackets/pants) and accessories (goggles, gloves, beanies) are not included but can be rented independently at resort venues.
Important Booking Information
Travel HUB Nagano City Hours & Luggage Pickup Please note the operating hours for Travel HUB Nagano City: luggage storage is available from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and ski/board rental from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Please ensure you collect your stored luggage before 6:00 PM on your final day to catch your return Shinkansen.
Cash Reminder Please carry sufficient Japanese Yen (cash) as some local resort buses, small restaurants, and mountain facilities may not accept credit cards.
Shinkansen Punctuality If you miss your scheduled Shinkansen, your seat reservation will become invalid. You may only ride in the non-reserved cars of subsequent trains on the same day. Please arrive at Tokyo Station at least 20–30 minutes prior to departure.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers winter sports and skiing/snowboarding activities before your trip.
Passport Requirement Please carry your physical passport with you at all times, as it is required for hotel check-in and standard identification.
