商品説明

Keage Incline Keage Incline (incline railroad) is a railroad line that was previously used to transport ships, with a total length of 582 meters. You can also walk on the track. It is a valuable place where visitors can freely explore the ruins of an abandoned railway line. One of the most photogenic spots in Kyoto, with its retro-looking train tracks.

Nanzenji Temple Designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, Nanzenji Temple is filled with many attractions, including Sanmon Gate, the symbol of Nanzenji Temple, Hojo, which expresses the world of Zen, and Suijikaku Aqueduct, which has a retro atmosphere. Cherry blossoms are blooming around the Sanmon gate, from which you can see a view of Kyoto, and throughout the temple grounds.

Eikando Temple Stroll through the beautiful grounds of Kyoto's hidden gems. Cherry blossoms are also blooming here and there on the road leading past Nanzenji Temple to Eikando Hall. In Eikando, cherry trees such as Somei yoshino are planted along the approach from the main gate to the middle gate, around the Pagoda, and in the garden.

Yasaka Shrine Yasaka Shrine is a cherry blossom viewing spot with the famous "Weeping Cherry of Gion". You can enjoy a variety of cherries, including weeping cherry, Somei Yoshino cherry, and Mountain cherry. As you enter the main hall, you will see many red lanterns. These were dedicated by geisha from the Gion area.  Once inside, food stalls line the street. It is very popular among the local people.

Gion  Gion is Kyoto’s most famous geisha district. Gion attracts tourists because of its high concentration of  traditional wooden machiya merchant houses. Gion district is known for its charming historical atmosphere and strong ties to the world of traditional Japanese art.

The Miyako Odori The Miyako Odori is a geiko and maiko dance performance held in Kyoto in April. This is a rare opportunity to see geiko and maiko that you would not normally see. Each performance consists of approximately eight scenes, each depicting an aspect of Japanese life, especially that of Kyoto and the geisha quarter. ※In Kyoto, women who perform traditional arts are called geiko, not geisha as is commonly known. A woman in training before becoming a geiko is called a maiko.

Tea ceremony, Ryurei-shiki It is performed with guests seated on chairs at tables to have the opportunity to enjoy tea along with the graceful movements of geiko and maiko. ※The tea ceremony will begin one hour before the performance starts, so we will arrive one hour before the start of the performance.  ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Information about tour operator Name H.I.S.
