This program will give you a nice souvenir from your Asakusa visit. You are to write your favorite Japanese character (Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana) with ink and brush on washi paper. We are ready to assist you to choose which character you want to write!

First, you will learn the basics of how to write, including how to use a brush, ink, and a piece of washi (Japanese writing paper). You will choose your favorite word or character from Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, etc. and write it on a piece of half-sheet or colored paper.
Please note that the purpose of this class is to experience calligraphy, and it is not a full-fledged calligraphy class.

■ If you are late, you will be asked to start the tour in the middle of the tour, or the tour will be shortened, or you will not be allowed to participate in the tour. ■ Please come to the designated place 10 minutes before the reserved time. ■ Attendants other than staff such as chaperones, interpreters, photographers, etc. are required to pay the experience fee. ■ The number of staff in attendance should be the minimum number required.
