The Experience

Experience a 1,300-Year-Old Fishing Tradition from a Viewing Boat. Ukai (cormorant fishing), an ancient way of catching river fish with trained cormorants, is demonstrated on the Kiso River. Watch the expert cormorant master and boatman guide the birds to dive and capture fish like ayu while admiring views of Inuyama Castle, Japan's oldest remaining castle keep, during a midday fishing spectacle reminiscent of The Tale of Genji.

Enjoy a meal and scenic cruise. ~Menu~ Maiko sushi platter (9 pieces), grilled ayu, ayu stewed in sweet soy, tempura, dashi-rolled omelet, edamame tofu, grilled eel, pumpkin fu, simmered scallop, duck loin, stewed veggies, dessert, and more.

National Treasure: Inuyama Castle. Inuyama Castle, Japan's oldest surviving wooden keep, has breathtaking vistas from its top floor. Also, we may not be able to arrange this if fully booked. - Once the arrangement for the "Front Bus Seat Usage Plan" is complete, it will be treated as part of the overall organized package tour along with the basic tour. Therefore, cancellation of the "Front Bus Seat Usage Plan" alone is not possible. - Please note that if the "Front Bus Seat Usage Plan" cannot be arranged and you wish to cancel the tour itself, cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of your cancellation. - Applications are required for all members of your participating group. Latecomers who wish to rejoin the group will be responsible for all transportation fees. 8.Please wear the sticker provided by the tour guide visibly.
Avoid sticking the sticker on leather goods, as it may leave marks.
Do not use the seat reclining function or adjust the seat settings.
Please set all electronic devices, including mobile phones and game consoles, to silent mode.
Talking on mobile phones and making video calls are prohibited on the tour bus.
