Japanese confectionery, or Wagashi, is an art! You can give a casual try and make beautiful pieces of Wagashi. A chance to express yourself with your own unique Nerikiri sweets!
Join us for a delightful journey through Kumamoto, where you can immerse yourself in Japan's rich cultural heritage with our Traditional Wagashi Making. This unique experience combines the art of Japanese sweets with a stroll through the historic streets of Kumamoto.
■ The operating time shall be from 10:00 to 15:00 (end of experience). ■ Basically, sharing seats is assumed. ■ Languages Spoken by Instructors: English & Japanese ■ If you are participating alone, you can pay the 2 person fee.
If there are a large number of participants, you may only be able to experience some of the steps. Note: This program handles food. To be hygienic, follow the instructions below. Wash your hands and fingers (before and during the program) Wear face mask and globes (We have our stock.) Understand and execute required hygiene measures to keep ingredients, tools and appliances clean. Make sure to eat Wagashi on the day in case you would bring it home.
If you are late, you will be asked to start the tour in the middle of the tour, or the tour will be shortened, or you will not be allowed to participate in the tour.
