In this program, former professional sumo wrestlers will explain everything in English, making the world of sumo accessible and engaging. Guests will even have the chance to challenge a wrestler in a fun, friendly match.
After enjoying lunch—Tonkatsu Bento (pork cutlets) and Chanko Nabe, a Japanese-style hot pot prepared by the wrestlers themselves—you will watch the powerful sumo demonstration, take part in the hands-on sumo experience, and enjoy a photo session with the wrestlers.
This activity offers a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of sumo, interact with real wrestlers up close, and appreciate the true spirit of Japan’s national sport.
