The Experience

Nanzoin Temple】 Nanzoin Temple, located in Sasaguri, is a Shingon Buddhist temple renowned for its colossal reclining Buddha statue. Completed in 1995, the statue is 41 meters long, 11 meters high, and weighs approximately 300 tons. Nanzoin Temple offers a unique blend of spiritual significance, artistic beauty, and cultural heritage in a serene mountain setting near Fukuoka City.

Michi no Eki Munakata】 Michi no Eki Munakata is a premier roadside station located in Munakata City, offering visitors a comprehensive experience of local culture and cuisine. It's considered one of the most popular roadside stations in Kyushu.

Genkai Yokocho】 Genkai Yokocho is a "fisherman's food stall village" where you can savor a variety of seafood dishes from the Genkai Sea. The spacious venue offers about 300 seats and features both indoor and outdoor dining options. You can enjoy rice bowls, BBQ, and seasonal specialties prepared by local fishermen. The location also provides stunning views of the blue ocean, enhancing your dining experience.

This is an interactive dining experience, where we only reserve seats for you. The tour does not include meals. Upon arrival, please confirm your table, then purchase what you like from your favorite food stalls. Enjoy fresh seafood while overlooking the Genkai Sea!

Keya no Oto Boat and Totoro Forest】 Enjoy a 25-minute boat ride offering breathtaking views of the one of Japan's largest magnificent basalt caves. The cave features impressive hexagonal and octagonal rock formations, created by millennia of sea erosion. If sea conditions permit, the boat ventures inside the cave, providing an awe-inspiring close-up view. The boat operates in Mid-March to November only.

Totoro's Forest, officially known as part of the Genkai Quasi-National Park, is a charming natural attraction that has gained popularity due to its resemblance to the magical setting in the famous Japanese anime.

Sakurai Futamigaura】 Sakurai Futamigaura is a scenic coastal location in Fukuoka Prefecture, known for its iconic "married rocks" (Meoto Iwa) and stunning sunset views. Symbolizes marriage and eternal love in Japanese mythology, and the sunset provides the most breathtaking views!

  • You will join the tour with other guests. Tour will be conducted with a minimum of 15 participants.
  • Depending on the number of participants, it may be a small-sized bus or a big-sized bus.
  • If the minimum number 15 of participants is not reached 7 days before departure, the tour may be cancelled. We will notify you by email, so please be sure to check.
  • Infants under 3 years old are FREE (No seat and meal arrangement).

Important Booking Information

  • Lunch is not included in this tour. You will have time to explore the famous local gourmet in Genkai Yokocho.

  • Keya no Oto Boat Tour operates from mid-March to November when the waves are typically calmer. In case the boat is not operating, you will visit Forest Cafe Midori no Oto or other famous cafe in Itoshima instead.

  • Schedule stops and timing are subject to change with or without notice. In case of traffic congestion or any other reasons that affect the tour schedule, the staying time at each sightseeing spot will be shortened and arrival time will be delayed.

  • As it is stipulated by the law of Japan, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus. The bus is not provided with a toilet onboard.
