- Located within the Tottori Sand Dunes, this one-of-a-kind museum showcases incredible sand sculptures (sand art) made solely from Tottori’s sand and water. With the concept of “Traveling the World with Sand,” the exhibition features a different theme each year.

- Hakuto Shrine is a historic shrine mentioned in both the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, making it a site of great cultural significance. Traditionally, it has been revered for its blessings in healing skin ailments and burns.
- The shrine enshrines the White Rabbit of Inaba, a key figure in Japanese mythology who played a role in uniting Ōkuninushi and Princess Yakami.
- Recognized as the birthplace of Japan’s first love story, Hakuto Shrine was designated as a “Lover’s Sanctuary” in 2010.
