Yamanashi Autumn Foliage Spot ① Japan’s Most Beautiful Gorge: Shosenkyo, Sparkling with Autumn Colors

  • A Gorge of White Rock Faces and Autumn Foliage! Stroll through Shosenkyo, also known as a spiritual power spot!
  • Shosenkyo, with its steep cliffs and brilliant autumn colors, offers a breathtaking contrast of scenery. Stretching about 5 km, the gorge’s elevation differences create staggered foliage timing, allowing visitors to enjoy autumn leaves for about a month. 【Best viewing season】Mid-October to late November 【Senga Falls】A spectacular 30m waterfall overflowing with refreshing negative ions. 【Iwa Gate (Stone Gate)】The tip is slightly separated—passing through it is said to make your wishes come true!

Yamanashi Autumn Foliage Spot ② Stroll Through Erinji Temple, Linked to Shingen Takeda

  • Erinji Temple – A historic temple tied to warlord Shingen Takeda. In autumn, admire the stunning harmony of vibrant foliage and traditional architecture. (Treasure Hall admission not included in tour price.)

  • Matsusato Dried Persimmons – From Nov to Dec, enjoy strolling through the scenic rows of persimmons drying under the eaves. This tradition is said to date back to Shingen Takeda’s era.

Taste of Autumn: Matsutake Mushroom Hoto Lunch

  • Lunch: “Matsutake Mushroom Hoto Gozen” – A special set combining Yamanashi’s local cuisine with the flavors of autumn.
  • Menu: Seasonal matsutake hoto noodles (with homemade fresh noodles), sashimi-style yuba konjac, simmered matsutake, steamed matsutake rice, and miso shiitake.

Harvest Season: All-You-Can-Eat Grape Picking & Mars Yamanashi Winery

  • All-you-can-eat grape picking in Yamanashi, the “Kingdom of Fruits”! Seasonal varieties such as Berry A and Koshu will be introduced on the day. (Varieties and timing may vary.)
  • Visit Mars Yamanashi Winery in Fuefuki, the heart of Japanese wine, for tastings and shopping.
  • Enjoy a small special gift from Mars Yamanashi Winery!
