Uncover the spirit of the samurai on a guided 4-hour historical walking tour through Kagoshima. Retrace the footsteps of the famous "Last Samurai," Saigo Takamori, while exploring scenic forest trails and ancient castle ruins.

Your adventure begins with a bus ride up Mt. Shiroyama for breathtaking views of the active volcano, Sakurajima. From there, hike down the lush Shiroyama Nature Trail into the historic castle town.

Along the way, enjoy a refreshing break at Shiroyama Seasoning to taste a true local delicacy: Shinko Dango (savory grilled rice dumplings) paired with premium green tea from Kagoshima—Japan's top tea-producing region.

Re-energized, your local guide will lead you past key cultural sites, including the grand Goromon Gate and the iconic Saigo Takamori Statue. Finally, hop on a nostalgic local tram to Tenmonkan, the city’s vibrant center, where this immersive journey concludes.
