Hirata Sake Brewery Hirata Sake Brewery is a renowned sake brewery located in the charming old town of Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. With a history stretching back to the Edo period, it's one of Takayama's venerable establishments. The current roots of Hirata Sake Brewery are in Ise and Hida. Carefully selected famous brewer’s rice ‘Yamadanishiki’ and local rice varieties such as ‘Hidahomare’ from Hida and ‘Isehikari’(miraculously born from the rice fields of Grand shrine, Ise) are used. The fine water comes from the sparkling clear Miyagawa stream. The holiness of Ise - the source of Japanese spiritual culture and the distinct advantage of Hida with its severe winters and rich tradition of sake making brings forth a fine range of exquisite sake. That is Hirata Sake Brewery.

- You can skip the spot where you don't go (※in this case we do not refund any fees) or change it with another place.
- If you add some new spots by your request, please pay the ticket fee on the spot. (Note that you may need to pay extra transportation fee)
- Please understand that while sake brewery tour is usually exclusive to your group, there may be instances where other guests join.
