The Experience
· Sanyo-San'in Area pass is valid for unlimited travel in the valid area. · Valid trains are below (Reserved seats)
- Reserved seats on SANYO SHINKANSEN (Shin-Osaka⇔Hakata) · This pass can be used for "Hello Kitty Shinkansen". · Reserved seats on Limited Express Train HARUKA,YAKUMO,KONOTORI etc.
- For reserved seating, ensure you book your seats before boarding the train.
- Non-reserved seating is not available on trains with exclusively reserved seats.
- Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR-WEST Conventional lines
- JR WEST MIYAJIMA FERRY (Miyajimaguchi⇔Miyajima) · The pass is only valid on WEST JAPAN JR BUS route buses within the valid area. The pass cannot be used on expressway buses.

【Eligibility for purchasing】
A rail pass user must be holding a passport issued by a foreign government.
A rail pass user must be entering in Japan as a "Temporary Visitor". "Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.
Individual customers are not allowed to purchase or exchange more than one of the same ticket for the same use period.
You must present your passport to receive a pass.

【Must Know】
Confirmation email will be sent to the appointed email address once the booking is made.
Please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical ticket by scanning QR code of e-ticket and non-Japanese passport. (Operation menus of machine can be displayed in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or Korean.)

※If the machine breaks down or the passport have no IC chip, please proceed to JR-WEST Ticket Office to exchange physical ticket.
Then, the physical pass is successfully redeemed.
Exchanging reserved seat tickets: before getting on the train, please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical reserved seat tickets by the area pass.

Notice of redemption of reserved seating for JR-West Rail Pass
Different passes can be redeemed for different number of times of reserved seating ticket. Please check the product page for details.
Please check each product page for achievable train for reserved seating.
The reserved seating for pass must be redeemed separately (make reservation at green machine or window).
The pass can be used to take non-reserved seating directly when the number of times of reserved seating is ran out or if there is no prior redemption of reserved seating ticket.
Unlimited rides of reserved seating ticket can be redeemed, it requires manual reservation at green window when using for the seventh times and above, and machine is not able to redeem directly.
Cancellation Policy
