Experience wearing authentically-made samurai armor inside Senganen, the traditional garden and stately home built by the 19th head of the Shimadzu family in 1658. It located in the center of Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Armor is available for both adults and children, making this unique experience an unforgettable family photo opportunity.
Senganen has a variety of trees and plants that make the garden scenery interesting in all four seasons.
Fulfil your samurai fantasies and be dressed in authentic armor before heading out into the gardens to have your picture taken against the backdrop of the stunning 360 year old gardens and one of the world’s most active volcanoes.
