<Two of breathtaking view spots> ★Obuchi Sasaba This spot is where you can see the tea field which is symbolize of Shizuoka and Mt.Fuji at once! The combination of the unobstructed, verdant tea fields and Mt.Fuji! This is a spot where you can fully experience what Shizuoka Prefecture is all about.
★Fujisan Yume no Ohashi (Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge) The view of Mt. Fuji directly in front of the bridge is very powerful. This bridge is a popular photo spot, as the steps of the bridge look as if they lead up to Mt.Fuji!
<Four of experiential activities at Fujimi High School> You can experience the realistic atmosphere of Japanese club activities up close!! ※0-2 years old cannot join the activities. ※There are cases when 3-11 years old may be asked to attend with a parent.
Shodo (Calligraphy Club): Let's try to experience Japanese calligraphy and make your own “Uchiwa” (Japanese fan) (This is a workshop in which participants actually use a brush and ink to write characters on a blank fan. You can take the fan home with you.)
Sado (Tea Ceremony Club): Let's get to know WABISABI and experience tea ceremony (You can enjoy matcha green tea prepared by the club members and tea sweets. You can also peek inside the tea ceremony room.)
Kado (Flower Arrangement Club): You can make Japanese style of “flower arrangement”. (Pairs, families, etc. can experience making a simple flower arrangement. After having your picture taken, your work will be exhibited in the school.)
Sokyoku (Koto Music Club): Let's play the Japanese traditional instrument "Koto (Japanese harp)". (After you listen to a performance by students, you can touch and pluck the strings of the Koto).
※High school students accompany all experiences as “concierges” with you, and experience together with members of the clubs in which they are involved.
