• The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route in spring is famous worldwide for the "Snow Otani" of Tateyama Kurobe! The "Snow Otani" is formed by clearing snow from the roads around Murodo Terminal, creating walls that stretch for about 500 meters, known as the "Snow Wall."

Highlight 1: "Snow Wall Walk"

• A massive snow wall towering up to 20 meters appears in the Tateyama Murodo Plateau, one of the snowiest regions in the world. The "Snow Wall Walk" event lets you experience walking through this giant snow wall. Enjoy breathtaking views of the towering snow walls, the contrast of the blue sky above, and the silver snow landscape below—truly a representative scenic view of spring Tateyama Kurobe.

Highlight 2: "Snow Corridor"

• A snow corridor is created by clearing the pathway between the rooftop of Murodo Terminal and the Tateyama Nature Conservation Center. The snow walls here often exceed 8 meters in height around April, providing a powerful experience that rivals the Snow Wall.

Highlight 3: "Mikurigaike" – A Scene Only Visible Now During the Snow Melt

• From May to June, Mikurigaike Pond features a translucent blue surface with floating white ice sheets (snow floes), creating a scene often compared to "cider floats." Be sure to experience this limited-time beauty of spring.
