Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament (Ozumo Kyushu Basho)
Six major Sumo tournaments are held every year in Japan, and Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament is one of the tournaments. Kyushu holds the Sumo event in mid-November at Fukuoka International Center, which is near Tenjin and Hakata Area.
You watch Sumo matches on Masu-seat A. Find your favorite Rikishi(wrestlers) while you watch the tournament and enjoy cheering for them.
Please be advised that an assistant will meet you at the meeting location to hand over your tickets. Kindly arrive at the designated meeting point at 13:00.

・Price for 2-Person Box Seat A ・A flat rate applies to guests aged 4 and older. ・Please note that the seat next to you will be shared with another guest, so you will not be able to place your luggage there. ・Please kindly note that due to the traditional layout and seating structure of the sumo arena, adjacent seats or box areas may not be positioned in a perfectly straight line and may be slightly staggered or angled. ・Please note that specific seat locations or seat numbers cannot be chosen. ・Children up to 3 years of age may join but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian during the event. ・Spectators in wheelchairs are not permitted.
Important Booking Information
- Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage cannot be brought into the seating area. - Please store your luggage in advance at another location (e.g., coin lockers) or at your accommodation.
- Re-entry is allowed as many times as you like from the opening until 5:00 p.m.
- Eating and drinking are allowed in the seating area. Food and beverages will be sold at the concession stand. Please note that food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, Kindly purchase food and beverages at the concession stand inside the 1F.
- Lost admission tickets or exchange tickets will not be accepted. Re-issuance of tickets is not possible.
- Spectators are not allowed to watch the matches from seats other than their assigned ones.
- Please set your cell phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on it while in the audience.
- Please avoid obstructing the view of others when displaying cheering banners or towels.
- Throwing cushions is strictly prohibited as it may cause injury or other issues.
- Guests who arrive late for the meeting time will have their reservations canceled.
