Sand Museum

  • Located within the Tottori Sand Dunes, this unique museum exhibits sand sculptures called "sand statues," created solely using sand and water from the dunes. The museum's concept revolves around "traveling the world with sand," showcasing themed exhibitions that change annually.
  • From April 19, 2024 (Friday), the "Sand Museum - 15th Exhibition: Journey Around the World with Sand, France Edition" will be held! *Admission fee is not included in the tour price. (Personal cost: Adults 800 yen, Children 400 yen)

Visit Hakuto Shrine, the power spot for matchmaking, set in the land of the myth of the "White Rabbit of Inaba"!

  • Hakuto Shrine is a venerable shrine with a well-documented history in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, ancient texts of Japan. It is believed to have healing properties for skin ailments and burns, as per mythology.

  • The shrine is dedicated to the "White Rabbit of Inaba," which binds the fate of Okuninushi and Yakami-hime. Recognized as the birthplace of Japan's first love story, "Hakuto" was designated a "Lover's Sanctuary" in 2010.

  • This tour is a Japanese tour. The tour conductor will provide language support using a translator (Pocket Talk).
  • This is not a private tour, you will enjoy the tour with other guests.
  • We might cancel the tour if we do not have at least 20 participants by 14 days before the scheduled departure.
  • Drinking alcohol on the bus is prohibited.
  • Please note that odd-numbered groups will, in principle, share seats on the bus
  • The order of the itinerary may be partially changed.
  • If the Uradome Coast cruise is canceled due to weather, you will be given a souvenir. (No refunds will be given.)
  • Guests planning a walk around the Tottori Sand Dunes should wear comfortable walking clothes.
  • The meal contents may change at short notice depending on the supply situation.

Important Notes During Bus Tour

  1. We ask for your cooperation in refraining from drinking alcohol on the bus.
  2. To the members of the odd-numbered group: Please be informed that you may have to share seats with other passengers on the bus.
  3. As it is stipulated by the law of Japan, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus.
  4. Please do not stand up or walk while the tour bus is running.
  5. Seating on the bus is assigned by H.I.S staff, please do not change your seat during the tour.
  6. Please kindly be punctual and arrive at the designated meeting place on time. The bus will leave on time and will not wait for latecomers.
  7. If latecomers wish to rejoin the group again afterward, all transportation fees will be at the customer's own expense.
  8. Please kindly put on the sticker which will be given to you by the tour guide during the tour, make sure it can be seen clearly.
  9. Please do not stick it on leather goods as seal marks may remain.
  10. Please do not use the seat reclining function or change the seat setting.
  11. Please kindly switch all your electronic devices such as mobile phones and game machines etc. to manner mode with no sound.
  12. Talking on mobile phones and video calls are prohibited on the tour bus.
  13. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the tour bus.
  14. Arrival time at each sightseeing sport may differ depending on traffic conditions.
  15. Use of drones for shooting or other purposes is prohibited during the tour.
