◆Shirakawa-go, World Heritage site -The area is registered as a World Heritage site along with Gokayama for its beautiful traditional landscape. You can enjoy stroll around here while being healed by the original landscape, as there are a lot of private homes, guest houses, and restaurants that are open to the public.
<Points of Interest> We received many comments from last year's participants that the time spent in Shirakawa-go was too short at 90 minutes, We have extended the stay in Shirakawa-go by moving the departure time from Hida Takayama earlier to match the check-out time!◆Kamikochi, the dream place of the mountain resort From mid-May, the area is enveloped in fresh greenery, and from July, the rocky surfaces of the mountains begin to shine in the summer! Pretty flowers bloom along the trails, and the season has finally arrived!The average maximum temperature in summer is a comfortable 20°C, making it ideal for strolling! The mountain trees begin to change color around the end of September, and you can enjoy the autumn and yellow leaves until early November. (The best time to see the autumn and yellow leaves in a typical year: mid-October to early November)
In Kamikochi, you can get off at either "Taishoike" ⇒ "Imperial Hotel" ⇒ "Kamikochi Bus Terminal". *During consecutive holidays in summer and fall, you will have to transfer to a shuttle bus for a part of the trip due to the Kamikochi sightseeing bus regulation days.In such cases, the time spent in Kamikochi includes 1 hour for the round trip by shuttle bus.(In the case of a 3-hour stay, 1 hour is for the round trip by shuttle bus and 2 hours for walking in Kamikochi.)
◆Free time in Hida Takayama until around 11:00 on the 2nd day! (*10:30 departure time on 5/5, 7/14, 9/15/22 and 11/3) A walk around the "Sanmachi Street" in Takayama, which prospered as a castle town! The scenery of the "old streets" lined with mansions built from the end of the Edo period to the middle of the Meiji period is protected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and has been awarded three stars by the "Michelin Green Guide Japon". There are many things to enjoy such as eating Hida gourmet foods, cafes, general stores, and sake breweries that use old private houses. Since you are staying in Takayama City, you can also enjoy Miyagawa Morning Market, a Takayama specialty, where vegetables and folk crafts are sold every day.

- Shuttle buses (extra charge, payable locally) are required to the observation deck at Shirakawa-go. Please note that you may not be able to go to the observatory due to traffic congestion or shuttle bus operation on the day of the tour.
- The sidewalk from Taisho Pond to Kappa Bridge may be closed to traffic. Please note that you cannot get off the bus at Taishoike in such cases.

- This tour is a Japanese tour but foreign visitors are also welcome to join. In such cases, an English Speaking Assistant will accompany the tour but please note that the assistant will not provide guided explanations. This is not a private tour, you will enjoy the tour with other guests. We might cancel the tour if we do not have at least 20 participants by 14 days before the scheduled departure. Drinking alcohol on the bus is prohibited. Please note that odd-numbered groups will, in principle, share seats on the bus The order of the itinerary may be partially changed. -You cannot leave the tour midway through this tour.

- After the scheduled departure time, the tour will depart at the discretion of our staff, so please be punctual.
- Please note that the scheduled time and details may be subject to change due to road conditions. We will not be responsible for any delay in arrival, use of a cab, or overnight stay.
- Depending on the number of participants, we may use a medium-sized bus or a small bus.
- No toilets are provided on the buses.
- Smoking is prohibited in the bus. In principle, reclining is not permitted. (except for some courses).
- Arrival point may be different from the meeting point. Please note that no refunds will be made in the - event that you do not use any of the benefits.
