Itsukushima Shrine (Miyajima Island) Miyajima Island is a small island in Hiroshima Prefecture and famous for a historic site of shinto. On this island, there is a Isukushima shrine known for one of the most scenic spot in Japan. You can enjoy beautiful red shrine as if it is floating over the middle of the sea.
Shukkeien Shukkeien Garden, designated as a national place of scenic beauty, is the garden of the villa of the lord of the Hiroshima domain. The garden, which was restored after its destruction by the atomic bomb, has become a place of peace for many visitors.
Hiroshima castle Hiroshima Castle's keep was designated a National Treasure in 1931, but was completely destroyed by the atomic bombing in 1945. The present structure was rebuilt and restored in 1958. It is one of the three great flat castles in Japan and has been selected as one of the 100 best castles in Japan.
Kintaikyo Bridge Kintai Bridge, a beautiful wooden bridge with five arches, spans the clear Nishiki River. It is one of the most popular tourist spots in Yamaguchi Prefecture and attracts many visitors. The intricate wooden structure and the seasonal beauty of Kintai Bridge make it a great photo opportunity!
Iwakuni Nanamachi The streets of Iwakuni Nanamachi were built around 1600, when many samurai and merchants settled in the area. Visitors can stroll through the rows of townhouses, with their Bengara latticework and white-walled merchant houses, as if they have stepped back in time.
Daiganji Temple It is famous as a god of academics, arts, and entertainment. In a corner of the main hall, there is a statue of Buddha called "Nade-butsu," which is said to bring good luck if you rub the bad part of your body with the Buddha and then rub your own body part.
